Audio at our school

want to fill in the picture about usage of audio. I check out the exhibition over at Design school on the last day. the three flash animations used samples and music were edited in Adobe flash. I went from there to creative studies and the art students exhibitions/ their works loosely resemble the academies terra firma intended categories colliding as they collapse borders fall across the chosen subjects in this case schools of design, creative communications and Art respective ... intersecting disciplines specialisations , subject categories, identities and exclusivities.

Hi Susan

Some places to get free music:

http://ccmixter.org - a music remix site where users upload their own tracks with a Creative Commons license and other users remix them and reupload the new version. A big jam session

http://archive.org - a range of music with free licenses, including the full live concert recordings of the Grateful Dead, who were the first pop band to recognise that concert recordings are as much the work of fans as the work of the band.

We (EDC content developers) use these sites to find music to add as backing tracks to videos and podcasts.
